Camping Tool
Getting Your Hiking Gear Together
The time will be here to hike and camp again before you know it. In order to be ready and organized, let's create some checklists of our camping tools so that we have everything we need to shop for and organize in one place.
In order to alleviate the potential stress of stuffing everything into your truck, you may want to have a look at something similiar to the Yakima Skybox Pro 21 as a cargo solution. By the time we get this packing list together, you will see the beauty of having everything stored on top of the car or truck in this great
Now let's begin with the packing list. Of course this will vary as your hobbies and interests may be different but we will assume that hiking, fishing and outdoor activities are high on your list of outings that you enjoy doing while roughing it in the wilderness.
1. Sturdy hiking boots or shoes. This is a must if any real hiking is likely to occur. Note that you won't want to wear a brand new pair of boots without first breaking them in a bit. This is critical because if you don't follow this advice you could end up with some very sore feet, putting an end to the lovely hiking trip.
2. Appropriate clothing for the climate and location that you will be climbing in. Getting wet while hiking can be pretty horrible, so be sure to pack a rain coat of some sort if you think there could be any chance of bad conditions.
3. A backpack that is size appropriate depending on how long you will be climbing at a time and if the hikes will include staying somewhere though the night. Be sure that you include food, an extra layer of clothes, a small kit of medical items and water to name a few things.
4. Don't forget to bring some medical supplies just in case of an emergency. This kit should include any prescriptions that you are currently taking, aspirin or tylenol, antibacterial wipes and cream, band aids and of course bug repellant and sunscreen.
5. A tent if you are roughing it. Also if you are tent camping, of course you will need a sleeping bag, pillow, and items to light your campfire. These bigger items will store very nicely overhead in your Yakima Skybox cargo storage unit so you need not grow frustrated about the kids fighting for space in the backseat of the vehicle.
6. Be sure to include your mobile phone and be sure that it is charged. You will probably want to bring your charger with you also. If you will be hiking in a location without a lot of other hikers, you might also want to buy a hiking gps tool as well.
7. If you do not have a gps device, the next best thing to include would be any maps that you need and a compass if you are skilled in that arena. The last thing you need on your trip is to be lost in the wilderness somewhere, so it is good to guard against that happening.
8. Depending on your interests, bring all your fishing gear, hunting equipment, swimsuits, the blow up raft...you name it. Bring those items that will keep you, the kids and the dog happy. Hint...don't forget the dog meals if you are bringing the family pet along.
Begin getting your hiking checklist together that includes all of the things that are critical to you and your family. Before you know it, it will be time to pack up the kids, the car and the Yakima Skybox 21 on top of your car and off you go. We hope that this information will get you started and that you have many happy hiking adventures ahead of you.

Frequently Asked Questions...
boot camp is internal tool for mac osx or i have to download from the net.?
i dont know that my system have the bootcamp or not. so please inform me that is internal tool or i have to download from the internet.
Answer:
You obviously must have an Intel-based Mac to be considering Bootcamp. So - it was not included with Tiger OS, but became a standard part of Leopard (and so, Snow Leopard).
If Tiger, you need to download from Apple (at a price)
BUT - why not update to Snow Leopard if currently Tiger, and so get Bootcamp included, and also the advantage of an operating system that takes full advantage of Intel, and software (and software updates, mostly free) now written especially to run on Intel.
