How do you activate the cruise control on a Ford focus se zx3 2007?
I turn on the car then press the on button but no cruise control ligth turns in the dash, is their one? or do i have to be driving?
Answer:
The buttons should be on the steering wheel if you have cruise control. Push the ON button to turn it on, then push the SET/ACC to hold your current speed. Tap the brake to disengage/coast, then push RES to resume the previously set speed. Pushing OFF will disengage and clear the speed memory. The base ZX3 model did not have cruise control, only the ZX3 premium and above models.
UPDATE: The light will come on after you push the set button and will be lit only when the cruise is engaged. The light is a picture of gauge with a needle.
