Leatherwear sure never goes out of style. It's been a fashion staple over the years. However, they can get really expensive. That's why you should know how to properly care for them, for you to enjoy them for many years. If you own some leatherwear, read on to learn how best to look after them.
Hang your leather jacket onto a wide, padded hanger. This will help maintain its form, as well as prevent creases. Never store it folded or rolled away. Before using it outside, try to apply a thin coating of protective wax. It's practically for the exact same reason why women's faces benefit from bb cream application.
When wearing leather pants, try to keep them dry as possibly as you can. Immediately blot liquid stains with a dry towel or rag. However, there are stains like ink and paint which can be permanent. See to it that you spray it with a layer of protective conditioner, as they're more susceptible to wearing and tearing. Never let them dry under direct sunlight as they will crack and fade.

Perhaps no other leatherwear receives more wear and tear than your leather shoes. Before storing them, wipe off dust or dirt with a dry rag. Apply a layer of beeswax or shoe-shine polish to prevent them from drying out during storage. Beeswax will also provide them with much-needed waterproofing.
Sure your hot leather brown boots cost you a fortune. That's why you need to do all that it takes to preserve them. Before storing them, rub on a layer of conditioner. Store them vertically, and never on top of one another. Making sure they're stored vertically will prevent creasing. To help maintain their position, insert rolled magazines, cardboard cylinders or water bottles.

Weird Science-y Coat hanger trick, Need a scientific explination?
In science class, my teacher took a coat hanger and stretched and straighted it out to look like an L. He held it at the bottom (the _ part of it) so that the longer end was above his head, and stretched to the sides. For some reason, the coat hanger began to rotate at varying speeds, and occasionally stopped. He wasn't turning it. He passed it around to several students, turned off AC, and the lights. This was to prove that
A. It wasn't the height that was making it turn
B. Fluorescent and Incandescent lighting wasn't affecting it
C. That it wasn't air flow
What's causing it to turn?!? Please answer with a hypothesis, conclusion, and some true, science facts!
Answer:
With your arm stretched out it's impossible to keep it absolutely still. The blood flowing through your hand and arm cause it to move rhythmically and this motion is transmitted to the coat hanger causing it to turn. Small muscle twitches also have the same effect.
