Frequently Asked Questions...
My car's dashboard light and headlight doesn't work but the taillight and radio does. Any suggestions why?
It's a toyota corolla 2001. The warning light for the break is on however. Thanks in advance
Answer:
the brake light on your dash can be two things, A) the emergency brake is engaged (even if just a little tiny big) and B) your brake fluid could be low. look at your owners manual to check your brake fluid or most shops will probably do it for free, pull up, tell them you want them to check your brake fluid, even big dealerships will check fluids for free. it would be a pretty sad operation if they wanted to charge you. also, if your brake fluid is low, its probably a good sign that your brakes are worn, as your pads wear out your pistons (or wheel cylinders) push out further thus using more fluid, so i would have them take a quick look at your brake pads too
