Talley Telescopic Sight Mounts
Talley have made a real name for themselves with innovative mounting solutions for hunting and sniper rifle. They offer ranges to suit the needs of hunters, target shooters, the police and military.
Talley tactical rings are machined from a single billet of 7075 T-6 aluminium. This is the same aluminum that the better manufacturers use for M-16 recievers and it is 40% stronger than the 6000 series aluminum often used by other manufacturers. To ensure alignment, the hole for the scope is bored straight through. As long as your rail is straight, your rail will be too. To ensure the clamps go back on the same mount, each component is individually serial numbered. The mounts are immensely strongly engineered and a stainless steel crossbar takes the recoil. This mount, as with all Talleys will take the most brutal recoil magnum calibers have to offer in lightweight weapons and is cleared for .50 BMG use. The Talley mount fits MIL-STD 1913 Picatinny rails. Four stainless Allen screws clamp the scope down and prevent it moving in the mount. Talley rings in tactical format are available in 30mm and 1" in low medium and high. As you would expect they feature a hard anodized finish in black to match military weapons.
Talley's quick detach rings are designed to fit their own proprietary rings that are available to suit a wide variety of different firearms. These steel mounts have a great following. They are very sleek and not prone to snagging on clothing or gear. A rugged steel bar is used to take the weapon's recoil. The mounts can be used with any hunting cartridge. The mounts are quite light in weight and have a very attractive appearance. The Talley rings in QD are available in 1" and 30mm in low, medium and high and all models can be had in blued, satin or stainless.
Talley fixed rings were adapted from the Talley quick detach ring and offer a really rugged mounting solution at the least weight for hunting and target shooting purposes. Again they clamp from side to side rather than top to bottom, reducing the width of the mounts and ensuring clamping does not cause the scope to rotate in the ring.
